I want to Complain about your Oranges

Fruit vendor employee (Ng Liap Nee) told us that he met a very angry and unreasonable Chinese customer (Lim Zhou Kong), demanding refund of two foul oranges that he recently bought from Tan.

Stress over two Oranges.

Mr. Tan had told us that he sold the oranges in a box of 50 to Mr. Lim. After two days of purchase, Mr. Lim returned with his wife and a red plastic bag containing some oranges. He claimed that these oranges were bought from Tan.

At first, Lim told Tan that, he want a refund for some damaged oranges that he bought from Tan.

Tan ask Lim to be specified on the numbers of damaged oranges. Lim replied Tan that 2 of them were damaged upon purchase.

Tan told Lim that he is sorry that he is unable to refund or exchange the damaged oranges with Lim.

Tan told us that: "As you can see, the oranges comes in boxes of 50 oranges each and I don't sell individual orange, therefore I can't exchange the whole box of orange for the 2 damaged oranges that Lim complain about."

Tan told Lim that it was only 2 foul oranges out of the 50 oranges and he is very sorry that he can't do anything.

Lim immediately became so furious and Tan quote us a sentence that Lim said to him in English: "So 2 orange spoil never mind, you mean? You eat lah, the two spoil orange you eat lah, now you eat in front of me. I want you to eat the spoil orange in front of me then you can tell me never mind."

Tan remained silenced while Lim continued to spell his authorities: "I know who you are working for and I am very good friend of your director. I will make sure you learn what customer service is all about and you won't be in this line anymore."

The furious Lim then fumble off while still grumbling from his mouth to his wife, Tan quote us what he had heard when Lim fumbled off

"Can you believe this, I can't change the orange, and I am the customer you know. What kind of customer service is this?"

Tan further tell us that when this incident happens, it was still at the peak hour and there are still a lot of surrounding traffics and customers. Who really is the issue or problem, tell me what you think?

Little Girl's Hand is Very Itchy

Ms. Chia Swee Ren, a full time general employee working in NTUC Fair Price of Singapore (Super mart Similar to Wal-Mart or Tesco) complained to us about a 70 years old defensive Granny and her little hero granddaughter.

While Granny was shopping in NTUC, her mischievous 4 years old granddaughter moved around the mart and pull out electric plugs like a hero!

Ms. Chia who was the main promoter for the desert corner had turned panicked when she found out that the ice creams inside the ice cream fridge were melting. She realized that the switch has being tampered with so she set foot to find out the culprit.

Ms. Chia had caught the granddaughter red handed while she (granddaughter) was busy unplugging the fridge containing yogurts. Chia hold the little girl's hand away and give a very light smack on the little girl's palm.

Don't mess with Singapore Granny.

Ms. Chia gives the girl a stern look and tells her that it is wrong to do this. It was at this moment that granny appears; granny saw what Chia had done and started the big scene.

Granny demanded an apology from Ms. Chia and she wanted to see Chia's manager as well. Granny create a Hollywood scene and many onlookers stop by and "look see look see". Granny claimed in front of the public that Ms. Chia had bullied and hit her granddaughter hard without any reason.

Ms. Chia was very embarrassed by the scene and she tried explaining to granny that her granddaughter has been tampering with the electrical wirings. Chia also tried to explain that this is a very dangerous act and she also didn't hit her granddaughter. What she did was simply stopping what the girl is doing.

Despite what Ms. Chia was actually doing. The public seems to believe what granny is saying and Ms. Chia had to back off.

Granny then grabs her granddaughter's hand and went off.

Ms Chia told us that: “The ice creams are almost in a liquid state, I don't even intend to call the authorities, all I want is just to bring the message across to the girl and her granny that it is wrong to tampered with electrical wirings in a public supermarket."

How come some customer like that one?

Singaporean Love to Stare at People and get Angry

Mr. Chao Ji Wai a retail supervisor in a local electronic department store complains to us that he had unknowingly became a victim of a starring incident. Mr. Chao just went for a toilet break. He was going for the hand washing basin after his business. What he didn't realize is that he is in the middle of a raging war between a middle age bald Chinese man and a young Bangladesh in his mid-twenties.

Mr. Chao started to realize that he is actually the buffer border between the warmongers when he looked at himself from the mirror. He was standing exactly in between two people that had been starring at each other for a long time.

Singapore Old and Bald Chinese Bad Ass

The Chinese guy started to pull Mr. Chao over by the arm in an aggressive manner. The Chinese man told Chao: "You look, you look, at the sick pathetic Bangladesh, why he look me? Look my age, I am a Singaporean and I can retire anytime with loads of pension and money. Look at that f*cking Bangladesh, how much can he earn per year? I pitiful and pathetic third world country worker. He low status, so no look at me. I no same, I can look at him as I like."

When Chao was about to turn away, the Chinese man started to prompt Chao further: "Am I right? Young man, am I not right? You tell me, i want you tell me."

Mr. Chao didn't know how to response so he just pretended to look away while keep washing his hand.

The bald Chinese man went off angrily swearing and cursing the young Bangladesh man and the young Bangladesh starts to tell Mr. Chao what had happen: "I was simply starring blankly at the mirror just now, while waiting for the washing basin, the Chinese man turn and stare at me as if he wanted to kill me. I didn't know what really happen and I was thinking, is there anything wrong? So I just look back at him blankly and this was the time you came out and stand in between us."

Mr. Chao told us that in a prime and premier country like Singapore, he felt that he never expects a Singaporean will behave like this. Is Mr. Chao wrong to assume the attitudes of a Singaporean?
